DAY 50 - BAD DAY
thumbs up for shooting a video everyday for 50 DAYS straight!! i've gotta say, shooting a video everyday has been a lot easier than i initially thought it would be. i've already learned so much from doing it too! enjoy today's video! i'm pretty proud of this one :) thanks to video copilot for the tutorial.
DAY 49 - GREEN SCREEN
my friend steven hutchison let me borrow his green screen for a while, and so i thought i'd play around with it tonight. this video isn't anything exciting, but it's still neat i think.

DAY 48 - MUSICAL BOTTLES
katie wanted to make it clear that they were using ibc cream soda bottles and not anything with alcohol haha. it took them FOREVER to get the pitch they wanted!
DAY 46 - PRETTY LIGHTS
i was sitting here working on some wedding video stuff, and i noticed the crazy amount of blue lights on my computer/hard drive/etc. i guess i never realized just how many there were before.
DAY 45 - DUMB
today's video is called 'dumb' because it's, well, dumb. i really don't like it at all, but i didn't have time to go do another video. oh well. tomorrow will be better.
DAY 44 - MINI ME
here's a fun video of me groovin behind some big tall grass thingy. this was my attempt at using a green screen, but i didn't really have a green screen so it didn't turn out quite like i wanted. hopefully next monday steven hutchison will bring his green screen over and we'll get to do some really cool stuff with it.
DAY 43 - BIRDHOUSE
i took a birdhouse from my friend moriah and told her that i would paint it for her. i didn't quite get it finished tonight, but so far so good!
DAY 42 - TOMATOES
katie has been trying to grow some tomatoes in the backyard this year. things were starting to seem as if there was no hope for them... but then these little dudes popped out!

ok ok ok ok, so i totally didn't do a video for yesterday (oops!) but i'm going to pretend like i did. things have been crazy this whole week, and honestly, i completely forgot about it. anyway, here's my video for yesterday... oh, and there's no audio.
DAY 40 - A SURPRISE!
i'm posting a little early today because katie tells me i might not have enough time to post my video for today. katie is surprising me with something tonight (i've got the video camera ready) and i'm super excited about it! so with that being said, if you don't see a video on here by midnight, it'll be posted early tomorrow morning :)

DAY 38 - FLOWERS
i forgot to bring my camera with me this afternoon to my parents house, so i ended up using the video mode on our canon powershot sd1400 is. not bad for a little camera!
DAY 37 - GUITAR GUY
we went to a car show today that my dad's car club was hosting. they hired a pretty cool band to play at the show, and the lead guy was pretty good!
DAY 36 - PLAYING IN RAIN
the rain was pretty nice today. so nice, in fact, katie and i played in it! i can't say a whole lot right now because katie is beating me with her straw... she's so abusive to me sometimes.
DAY 35 - LIGHT PAINTING
tonight was fun! steve hutchison, katie and i experimented for the first time with light painting! it was super cool and i want to do it again sometime! to see a few of the pics, check out steven's blog at stevenhutchisonphotography.com.

i'm feeling much better today! i don't know what my deal was last night. today's video is backwards - not really sure why to be honest.

DAY 32 - THE CLOSET
i'm a little under the weather today... it's weird, it just hit me all of a sudden and now i'm running a temp of 100.4.
DAY 31 - CANDLES, BIRDS & STORMS
what a storm tonight! it was a pretty strong one and there's still tornado warnings in the area until later tonight. here's today's video!
DAY 30 - CLOUDS
today was so eventful! katie and i started it off by going to a few garage sales, then we went to the titanic museum in branson! the museum was going to be my video for the day, but did you know they don't allow cameras inside!! after branson, we came home, loaded up the car then drove down to the river and went tubing. such a fun day! and out of all these great things, i didn't get any of them on video. instead, i made another cloud time-lapse video.
DAY 29 - SCOOTER
i bought an electric scooter a few weeks ago for katie to ride to work on (she works just right down the street). it's a lot of fun! and yes, the front wheel is pretty wobbly as you'll see in the video.
DAY 28 - THE FALL
it was raining today so i thought it'd be fun to get a video of katie and i outside playing in it. turns out, there's a hole right next to our back step that i didn't know about. stupid hole... AND it wasn't even raining that hard to play outside anyways!
DAY 27 - 3 YR ANNIVERSARY
my wife and i celebrated our 3 year anniversary! these past 3 years have gone by really fast! we didn't really do anything special since we both had to work and then of course we had services tonight. we plan on doing something this weekend though :)

for whatever reason, steven hutchison and i think this is just hilarious in slow motion. maybe you'll think so too :) we sound like dinosaurs or something...

to celebrate 4th of july, my parents had a small family get-together. the sparklers were a big hit!

DAY 23 - THE MEETING & AUSTIN
i had such a good time at the 4th of july meeting this week! on friday night there was over 850 people that attended! the video today is after services of the last day. my plan was to 'interview' people about the meeting, but austin mcconnell decided he wanted some extra camera time. haha, i liked how this video turned out :)
DAY 22 - RECORDING
today we recorded some more songs for the television program. i think we made some big improvements since the recording last year and i'm really excited to see how this is going to turn out! this is just a quick 'behind the scenes' clip to see how everything was set up.
DAY 21 - THE LAWN
here's a time lapse (go figure) of me mowing the yard. ...if only i could do it this fast in real life - that would be awesome! needless to say, i didn't get the whole yard finished for the video. i had to take a break and come back and finished the rest. we've got a BIG back yard!
